Options open to U.K. residents

a) Use your own funds

b) Personal loan from your own bank or building society

c) Lease (suitable for VAT registered people) - Normally brand new vehicles only. Send us an email or phone to discuss.

Points to note – obviously loans have to be repaid! Therefore only borrow what you can easily afford to repay.

We suggest that you look around at all finance options to ensure that you are getting the best rate of interest available to you. Whatever you decide, we suggest you do not enter into an agreement with anyone to purchase a car over a period in excess of 3 years or more. If you do, the car will almost always be depreciating faster than you are paying off the loan. Some actually advertise "the best way to buy your next car" and then go on to suggest a 5-year/60 month repayment plan – actually that is the very worst way - unless of course you are being offered a 0% finance deal! We have a steady stream of people contacting us who have entered into agreements and a couple of years into the agreement they want to change the car again.  By that stage, they usually owe many hundreds of pounds  more than the car is worth! Enough said...

Options open to U.K. citizens returning home after a period abroad

a) Your own funds

b) Your own bank may well offer you a personal loan if you have held your U.K. bank account throughout your period overseas

c) Personal loan from relative, friend, church, mission or organization

Unfortunately having been out of the U.K. for a period of time you will usually not be able to meet the criteria set by conventional hire purchase companies for either loans or lease agreements.

Please feel free to phone us to discuss the options if you wish.
