Quite simply, we sell you a suitable car that meets your individual requirements, arrange insurance cover if required and then re-purchase the car from you when you've finished with it.

The main advantages of this scheme are:

  • the weekly usage charge is much lower than self-drive hire rates;
  • there is no VAT involved (chargeable @ 17.5% on a conventional self-drive hire);
  • insurance can usually be arranged at a substantially cheaper rate than self-drive hire insurance.
  • all cars are covered by mechanical breakdown insurance covering the major mechanical parts of the car - protecting you from any major unforeseen expenses on the car.

At the end of the period:

  • you are free to sell the car to whoever you please - we are here as a guaranteed buyer should you wish to re-sell it back to us (hence 'Buy-Back'). The price will be agreed when you first buy the car (subject to the car being returned clean and undamaged);
  • we will surrender the road tax and repay you for the unexpired balance;
  • we will cancel the insurance policy and obtain a refund for you on your behalf.

Another major benefit

We are able to pick up on any existing UK insurance ‘no-claims’ bonus. Most UK insurance companies only allow a maximum break of 2 years before a ‘no-claims’ bonus becomes invalid. Some companies allow 3 years. Using our Scheme helps you to keep your discount valid. Alternatively, if you've been using a company or mission vehicle whilst overseas, we are usually able to obtain a ‘no-claims’ bonus from that on your behalf. This scheme is open to both UK and non-UK citizens/licence holders.
